Direct Drive Industrial Winch 200-300KN VFD with Load Cell | KLD
-
Engineered for heavy lifting and load-testing duties from 200 to 300 kN (≈ 20–30 tons). Direct-drive worm gear reducer with a variable-frequency motor and brake provides low-speed, adjustable operation, while the load cell supports precise load monitoring. 7.5 kW drive, rope capacities up to 65 m. Parameters are configured around your project.Quick Specs
Lifting capacity: 200 / 300 kN (≈ 20 / 30 t) Rope speed: 1.5 / 1 m/min (adjustable) Motor: 7.5 kW VFD motor with brake Rope: Ø24 / Ø28 mm Control: VFD cabinet + adjustable-speed remoteApplication Scenarios and Applicable Boundaries
- Heavy lifting & positioning — controlled lifting of heavy equipment and structures (20–30 ton class) at creep speed for precise placement. - Load testing & structural verification — ultra-low-speed pulling (1–1.5 m/min) with load cell feedback supports controlled load application for test rigs and structural verification. - Renewable-energy projects — lifting and installation duties at wind, solar and energy-storage sites, where speed adjustability and precise load monitoring support safe erection work. - Heavy traction & hauling — slow, high-force pulling of heavy loads over short distances with full-speed control from the remote. Boundary: Loads, rope configurations and duty cycles are engineered per project. The winch is not intended for personnel lifting. Confirm the application, rope arrangement and environment before ordering.Features Benefits
1.Low-speed, low-noise drive — The direct-drive worm gear reducer provides high reduction (up to 1046:1) in a compact train, supporting smooth, quiet operation at creep speed with reduced energy demand at rated duty.
2.Low-speed, low-noise drive — The direct-drive worm gear reducer provides high reduction (up to 1046:1) in a compact train, supporting smooth, quiet operation at creep speed with reduced energy demand at rated duty.
3.Low-speed, low-noise drive — The direct-drive worm gear reducer provides high reduction (up to 1046:1) in a compact train, supporting smooth, quiet operation at creep speed with reduced energy demand at rated duty.
4.Precise load monitoring — The load cell provides real-time load feedback, supporting precise control of applied force during lifting and load-test sequences.Complete Technical Specifications

The winch is supplied on a thick steel base plate with 6–9 pre-drilled Ø39 mm mounting holes for floor fixing. Overall dimensions, rope exit direction, pulley and hook arrangement are confirmed on the general arrangement drawing after configuration approval. Available interfaces include: VFD control cabinet, adjustable-speed remote, load cell signal output, brake control, limit switch contacts (optional) and PLC communication (optional). Electrical interfaces are defined in the final wiring diagram.Control Safety and Protection
- Normal control: VFD cabinet with adjustable-speed remote; rope speed adjustable from the operating position. - Load monitoring: load cell provides real-time load feedback to the operator and control system. - Stopping & holding: motor brake provides braking on stop and holding when powered down; stop positions defined in the control scheme. - Protection: limit switch contacts available as an option; over-load behavior confirmed in the control scheme per project. - Environment: confirm enclosure rating, temperature range and site conditions before ordering. Standard vs optional items are confirmed on the control scheme for each order.Customization Options and Engineering Process
Configured around your operating conditions — Share the required lifting load, rope travel and diameter, operating speed, duty cycle, power supply, installation envelope and environment. KLD will review the application and provide a proposed configuration, technical drawing and quotation for approval. Requirements → Concept → Drawing & Quotation → Approval → Production & Test → DeliveryStandards Testing and Quality
The company operates an ISO 9001 quality management system. CE conformity documents (LVD, EMC) are available for applicable configurations on request. Factory testing follows the approved technical specification for each configured unit and may include: no-load run, rated-load operation, brake function, speed-adjustment and load-cell verification. Available documentation may include dimensional drawings, electrical diagrams, inspection records and functional test results, depending on project scope.Engineering Cases
Challenge: A renewable-energy project required heavy lifting of equipment (20–30 ton class) with precise placement at low speed and real-time load monitoring during installation. Solution: A direct-drive industrial winch (200/300 kN class) with VFD motor and brake, worm gear reducer, load cell and adjustable-speed remote, configured to the project rope arrangement. Outcome: The winch passed the customer's functional acceptance procedure for the planned lifting duties.Technical Data Download

What information is required to select the winch?
Please provide the required lifting load or line pull, rope travel and diameter, operating speed, duty cycle, power supply, installation orientation, control preference and environmental conditions. A sketch or site photo can help our engineers confirm the configuration.
-
What are the differences between the 200 kN and 300 kN models?
The 300 kN model uses a Ø28 mm rope with 36 m drum capacity, a 1046:1 reduction and 45670 N·m output torque; the 200 kN model uses Ø24 mm rope with 65 m capacity, a 561:1 reduction and 24494 N·m output torque. Both use a 7.5 kW VFD motor with brake.
-
Can the speed be adjusted during operation?
Yes. The VFD control cabinet with adjustable-speed remote allows the operator to vary rope speed from the operating position.
-
How does the load cell work?
The load cell provides real-time load feedback, supporting precise control of applied force during lifting and load-test sequences.
